Marc Jacobs is not a fan of slippers, preferring to walk around barefoot.

The fashion designer has created both sought-after clothing and his own range of perfume.

His busy lifestyle means relaxing at home and swapping his fashionable clothes for comfortable alternatives is a luxury.

“If I stay at home, I just put on some sweats and feel comfortable,” he admitted to the British edition of Marie Claire.

“I don’t wear slippers – I love to be barefoot. I can’t wait to get home and take off my socks and shoes and walk around on my wooden floors.”

However, the designer can’t always enjoy such a laid-back evening.

The 49-year-old is extremely dedicated to his career, which often means late nights in the office.

“The month before a show, we’ll work until 8pm, 10pm, then midnight, then 2am or 4am,” he revealed.

“Then there’s no sleep the night before. I stay in the office as much as I need to.” – COVER MEDIA
