It was the official opening of Luxury Fashion at Resorts World today and we made the trek down to Sentosa to see all the shops that will be on offer for all you high rollers and big spenders.

If Luxury Fashion doesn’t ring a bell, then maybe Victoria’s Secret will? Yes, the sexy lingerie brand is housed in this stretch of luxury retail space. Although its bras are not available here (yet, we hope), you still can get its sleepwear, panties and of course, its bodycare line that our friends always stock up on when they go overseas.

Other than Victoria’s Secret, high-end Italian jeweller Damiani is also here for the first time. Its past celebrity faces include Sharon Stone, Sophia Loren and Gwyneth Paltrow, and we can see why – the jewellery on display was shimmering in all its carefully crafted glory – oh yes, don’t forget to see the D.Side collection, co-designed by Damiani and Brad Pitt.

And if your man happens to need a well-tailored suit, then drop by Canali (not related to the patisserie) – the Italian brand has been making quality menswear since 1934 – even the mannequins looked pretty spiffy to us.

There’ll also be 3 multi-label concept stores:

  • Beauty emporium Vie Beaute that stocks all the major beauty brands like Chanel, Dior, Shiseido, Shu Uemura and Estee Lauder and Lancome.
  • Swiss Watch Gallery – ‘Horologer Extraordinaire’ which houses 25 well-known watchmaking brands like Baume & Mercier, Rado, Roger Dubuis, Longines and Tissot.
  •  Eye Spy – selling, you guessed it, sunglasses from Bulgari, Coach, Dior, Fendi, Tom Ford and more.

Adding to this list are the stand-alone boutiques of Bally, Coach, Alfred Dunhill, Jimmy Choo, Polo Ralph Lauren, Shanghai Tang, Tumi and Swarovski.

And more brands are to come – the very glamourous Versace and the fun and funky Juicy Couture will both be opening in the middle of this year.

Luxury Fashion is at Festive Hotel, Resorts World, Sentosa, Sentosa Island 099958.
