Encapsulating the chic, free-spirited sartorial flair behind French-style dressing, the Uniqlo x Ines de la Fressange collaboration is in its ninth season with the upcoming launch of the joint Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
The Parisian style icon and model-turned-designer drew her inspiration from her recollection of the landscapes of port towns, with pieces and colors channeling breezy summer vibes.
Key looks and details this time round include a line of pyjamas, and a multitude of prints and motifs — often graphic or geometric in style: Stripes, classic checks, gingham checks and spots.
The 82-piece collection also nods at Uniqlo’s LifeWear philosophy of delivering high-quality clothing that is universal in design and comfort. Soft 7/8 length pants, 1960s-style cache-coeur dresses with ruffles, and relaxed pyjama-style pieces act as a testament to this.
If you’re still skeptical about the idea of rocking pyjamas to work, you may change your mind after seeing these other stylish PJs.
Uniqlo x Ines de la Fressange Spring Summer 2018 collection, $19.90 to $199.90. Full collection available at UNIQLO Orchard Central (Global Flagship Store), Suntec City and online at www.uniqlo.com/sg from Mar 16 onwards.
