Modest fashion has been Hana Tajima’s design ethos since her inaugural collaboration with Uniqlo four years ago. Four years on, it still is.

For F/W ‘19, the British-born designer released a collection that caters to literally every woman.

With the theme titled as “Underground”, this collection comprises of garbs like over shirts, mac coats and straight-leg pants fashioned in boyish cuts to fit the empowered woman. Expect colour palettes that revolve around earthy tones of beiges and browns and gem-like shades of blues and greens.

This collaboration also includes a new-to-season silk blend series of clothing, which will be made available in dresses, blouses and pants.

“There is beauty in change and women especially are so adept at finding fluidity in adapting,” says the 31-year old designer in a press release. “I always keep in mind how a piece of clothing will move with the body [and] that is the interesting thing about designing clothes.”

The Hana Tajima x Uniqlo F/W ‘19 collection will be available at the Orchard Central Global flagship store and online from August 16. Prices start from S$9.90 to S$129.90.
