Looking at a canvas rucksack/tote bag in khaki green with tan leather trimming got me thinking that these colours are really coming back in a big way and not just on accessories. I’m really glad that fashion in general is going back to tailored classics mixed with military or sportswear details. I guess I will soon be pulling out my old khaki green cargo pants – a big trend in the late 90s and early 2000s. I wish to see more women here embracing khaki green and mixing it with their fave neutrals. Tonal khaki as seen on the catwalks probably won’t look great on Asians (unless you are really fair); instead pair khaki with white or black or red, even with dusty pastels, much easier for us to pull off.
