Fendi’s new flagship store in Paris makes a splash Anchor Thumb

The next time you are in Paris, you might discover that the Fendi store at Avenue Montaigne is not quite where you remember it to be. The flagship store has moved down the street from No. 22 to No. 51 Avenue Montaigne.

The new store houses 600 square metres of luxurious retail space in three storeys – the design is true to the spirit of the Italian luxury label and celebrates both Fendi’s heritage and drive to be on the forefront of fashion.

On the ground floor, there’s an installation inspired by the Baguette and also a space dedicated to a made-to-order service where customers can pick from an exclusive selection of skins, colours and finishes to customise bags from the Selleria line and the Peekaboo bag.

The Paris boutique opened its doors on July 3, 2013, with many A-listers in attendance like Sharon Stone, model Natalia Vodianova and actress Rose McGowan.

To celebrate the opening, Fendi also revealed the project “The Glory of Water” that included an exhibition of images taken by Karl Lagerfeld of the most iconic fountains of Rome, in Paris. This exhibition was displayed in five domes – representative of the cupolas that define the Roman skyline – on the banks of the Seine by the Pont Alexandre III.
