This just in: Dua Lipa has just been announced as the new face of global sports brand, Puma, and she’s thrilled to embark on a new journey with the brand. With a celeb roster that includes the likes of Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez, and more, the global superstar will be collaborating with Puma to represent its womenswear.

She first shared the excitement of her collaboration on her Instagram on November 17, where she announced that she was joining the Puma family.

Besides being a figure of strong influence on many women around the world, Dua has also been known to be an advocate when it comes to raising awareness around women’s issues and gender equality. It’s no wonder she’s a perfect fit for Puma’s “She Moves Us” campaign that will be launched next year in 2021 where they hope to inspire women to “achieve and connect through sport and culture.”

Adam Petrick, Puma’s Global Director also shares his excitement for this project with Dua. According to Adam, in an official statement, he mentioned, “We were drawn towards her creativity, passion, drive, and the way in which she resonates with the young female consumer”. He also emphasised how Dua “embodies what today’s consumer is looking for in a role model.”

Lipa also mentioned, “I’ve got so many ideas for the projects and campaigns I’ll be taking part in and look forward to bringing them all to life with my PUMA family.”

As part of the multi-year partnership with the songstress, the iconic sports brand will also play the role of sponsors for Dua’s “Studio 2054” livestream project which debuts on November 27.
