Coco Rocha is debuting her street style photography skills for Sass & Bide and hopes to show how vital such fashion is.
The model is the face of the label’s Spring/Summer 13 range and in line with that, Rocha will be taking over the reins of sassandbide.com and social media offerings for five days from January 28.

“Street style is more important now than ever before. There was a time when your pop stars, movie stars and top models could go to grocery stores wearing pyjamas and fuzzy slippers if they wanted and there would probably be no evidence of that,” she told vogue.co.uk.
“Now with a camera on every cell phone we all need to think a little more carefully about how we dress up when we leave the house.”
She plans to style herself in items from the new range and share the shots online in order to offer an honest look at her life when she isn’t working.
“Personally, I love styling myself and putting together my own looks. We models are especially lucky to be given some amazing pieces from brands and designers, so why wouldn’t we want to show them off? Usually I get my street style fix by following my friends and fellow models like Behati Prinsloo, Doutzen Kroes and Hilary Rhoda on Instagram,” she said.
The model is looking forward to showing off her favourite pieces from the range, focussing especially on the denim offerings. She loves the jeans particularly and believes there are versions available to suit every figure and style aesthetic. — Cover Media
