Podcasts are no stranger to the fashion industry (Fashion No Filter’s one of our faves). They provide a sense of authenticity via uncensored discussions, as compared to social media. This year, Coach has decided to keep things real with their audiences by releasing their first podcast series called “Dream It Real” (watch our “I have a Dream” video where it features five local models reshaping the local modelling scene).
“I am excited to launch the Dream It Real podcast, a thought-provoking and inspiring series of unfiltered conversations,” said Coach’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, Carlos Becil, in the press release. “Our goal is to continue our commitment to empowering young people, and to provide a platform where they can simply be themselves and find the confidence they need to create the world they envision.”
Hosted by Heben Nigatu, writer and editor who’s named as one of Forbes’ “30 Under 30” in 2016, Coach’s podcast series will see to include feature interviews with celebrities, fashion mavens and inspirational individuals.
The series will kick start today (April 24) with the maison’s brand ambassador Selena Gomez’s take on authenticity, and subsequently on every Wednesday. The next few episodes will include American heartthrob Michael B. Jordan’s opinions on courage, Game of Thrones’ actress Maisie Williams’s perspective on community and the maison’s creative director Stuart Vevers’ ideology on creativity.
