Chopard has elevated the green emerald to centre stage in the latest creation in its luxurious High Jewellery collection with an extravagant pear-shaped stone.
Featured on a new Chopard High Jewellery white gold necklace is a 35.90-carat pear-shaped emerald pendant (pictured below). Unlike conventional necklace designs, this stunning stone of bluish-green dangles from a hook to the left of the necklace, making a bold statement that is bound to capture the eyes of the crowd.
To accentuate the rich green colour of the pear-shaped emerald pendant, the rest of the design is dazzling white, with a thick rope of white gold forming the back portion of the necklace.
The front of the necklace has a spectacular display of seven layered chains, each one formed from a row of shimmering white diamonds. Bright diamonds also surround the perimeter of the pear-shaped emerald pendant, and a single large diamond is set in the centre of the hook for the pendant like a frozen teardrop.
Chopard has also created an equally stunning pair of emerald, diamond and white gold earrings (pictured above) that echo the pear-shape to accompany this statement-maker of a necklace.
