Cartier will reveal an exclusive preview of its upcoming film “The Cartier Odyssey” via Facebook on March 2, with the ambitious short to feature three panthers and a host of fantasy scenes.
In honor of Cartier’s 165th anniversary, the panther — the label’s symbol since 1914 — will take viewers on a journey through Cartier’s iconic designs during the three-and-a-half-minute spectacular.
Having last year teamed up with the likes of electro group Air for the True Love Has a Colour and a Name campaign (a series of videos celebrating romance), “The Cartier Odyssey” (L’Odyssée de Cartier) marks the label’s most ambitious advertising project for over a decade.
Directed by Bruno Aveillan, who has previously worked for houses including Louis Vuitton, the film will debut March 4 on television screens across the US, France, China, Russia, the UK, Hong Kong and the Middle East.
It will also appear on its dedicated micro-site at www.odyssee.cartier.fr. — AFP RELAXNEWS
