Inspired by the curved inscriptions on ancient Roman coins, the Bvlgari Bvlgari timepiece was the very first watch to use a logo as an element of design. This ability to fuse culture and history, while remaining fashion forward, demonstrates the brand’s creativity and craftsmanship.

First unveiled in 1977, the beloved timepiece has been given a modern update by the Italian maison. The iconic double logo engraved on the bezel is instantly recognisable, but the watch now comes in 33mm with a B043 calibre. For a more elegant option, there’s the stainless steel quartz version with a beautiful silver toned dial, plus diamond hour markers and a steel crown set with a cabochon-cut rubellite.

What we really like though is the sleek stainless steel case and bracelet with black Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) treatment, black lacquered dial, and a crown with black ceramic cabochon insert. If you prefer something that packs a bigger punch, it also comes in a 41mm version with automatic winding that is water resistant to 50m. This contemporary all-black design is rebellious yet cool, and looks equally good when worn to the boardroom or a weekend outing.
