Brad Goreski lands executive roleBrad Goreski is the new executive brand stylist of Kate Spade New York.

Brad shot to fame as an assistant of Hollywood stylist Rachel Zoe. He featured on her TV show but has since set up on his own and is thrilled to be winning new contracts.

His job with Kate Spade New York is a two-year contract which will see him help boost the popularity of the company’s ready-to-wear line and style events, fashion shows and advertising campaigns alongside creative director Deborah Lloyd.

“The brand is known for its accessories, and their ready-to-wear is fairly new and [it’s] Deb’s baby,” Brad told WWD. “We see so many people carrying the bags and the accessories. It’s my hope to get the ready-to-wear out there and see it more on the streets and see people playing with it and making it their own.”

Brad and Deborah met in February when he helped to organise the company’s New York Fashion Week show. They got on well and decided to team up again in August.

Brad is keen to bring the ethos of the firm – which he says is about bright hues and “exuberance” – to everyday people.

“I have been a fan of Brad’s sense of style and spirit from afar for some time now. When I began to consider a stylist with whom I could really build an on-going relationship and one whom I trusted, he was the first that came to mind. Besides being a great stylist, he is a joy to be around and a true gentleman. He keeps me laughing and keeps me on my toes,” Deborah said.©COVER MEDIA
