Last night, we graced the Shangri-La Singapore for our annual Woman of the Year awards ceremony and gala whilst also celebrating 55 years of Her World fun in style! Our favourite Singapore fashionistas and even in-house beauties brought their best gown game to the event! See who made the best-dressed list with our edit of our favourite looks and trends from the evening.

Congratulations to our Her World Woman of the Year, Zuraidah Abdullah! Apart from being passionate and courageous in her line of work, she was also on point with her outfit last night. Her bespoke formal uniform jacket featured amazing shoulder lapels that certainly stood out from the crowd.

Actress Oon Shu An channeling some really chic and sleek vibes in her embellished navy/black two-piece. Loved how she went for a pointed toe stiletto and a slicked back hairstyle; totally nailed it.

Tjin Lee, managing director of Mercury Marketing and Communications (basically the power lady who makes fashion week happen in our little island) looks so gorgeous in an Ong Shunmugam creation. Here’s the catch: she just gave birth to the most adorable baby boy about a month ago. Can you even tell?

Our Her World stylist Evon, looking oh so chic in this Al Manita two piece. Al Manita is a new Thailand-based label that started only in 2014. You can find out more about them here. My favourite part of the outfit? That adorable kitty minaudiere from Kate Spade. While it’s completely impractical (your regular phone can’t fit inside), it is definitely a statement making bag.

Of course we would have the dynamic duo (L-R; Rachel Lim, Viola Tan) from Love, Bonito on our best dressed list. While Rachel kept it basic with black, she used a peplum with a dash of red on the underneath to make her outfit pop! Viola’s floral motifs complemented her flowy dress.

Our newly crowned Her World Young Woman Achiever award winner of 2015, Priscilla Shunmugam looks absolutely stunning in this monochrome number of her own design. Loved how she paid tribute to her ethnicity with a bindi and white draping sari sash to contrast against her black cheongsam silhouette.

Her World’s very own Diana Lee looked sleek and stunning in this Lipsy London sheath. The slight fishtail hem combined with the black contouring lines for a dramatic entrance and accentuated her gorgeous figure.

Denise Keller sashayed the red carpet in a flowing, chiffon concoction. We loved the draping sash detail, a micro-trend of the night!

Partners in crime Fiona Fussi (right) and Hanli Hoefer (left) were twinning last night in their contrasting zesty lime and navy dresses and accessories! These Her World cover girl alums added gilded jewels and statement clutches and bags to make their looks pop. Fiona wore BCBG Max Azria whilst Hanli rocked local label Love, Bonito.
