Moschino Fresh Couture Singapore

There are two reasons we buy a perfume. One is how much we like the scent, and the other is how pretty the packaging is. The importance we place on either of those varies between individuals, but you can’t deny that visual appeal goes a long way when it comes to perfumes.

With the new Fresh Couture fragrance, Moschino has clearly taken their oft-unique creativity a step further. The idea was to juxtapose something as mundane and common as a household cleaner with something as precious as a luxe fragrance, and whether you think it’s gimmicky or not, you can’t deny the entertainment value that comes from looking at such a bottle – imagine it next to the rest of your perfumes!

The scent itself is a little unexpected, given the name. Instead of a fresh scent, this perfume has a more fruity and floral scent, thanks top notes like mandarin and bergamot and heart notes of peony and osmanthus. It smells more suited for daytime wear with very subtle woody and amber base notes.

The one disappointment? The entire head of the perfume bottle comes off and isn’t the actual avenue for spritzing the fragrance. I’ll concede it’s far from practical, but a girl can hope.

Moschino Fresh Couture EDT retails for $65 for 30ml, $95 for 50ml and $125 for 100ml.
