A new high-end line called Style of Jolie will benefit education projects in Afghanistan.

Well-known for her role as one of the UN’s High Commission for Refugees’ goodwill ambassadors, Angelina Jolie has recently opened an all-girls primary school just outside of Kabul, the Afghan capital.

The school is currently educating between 200 and 300 girls and is to be funded directly from the profits of the Style of Jolie line.

Angelina Jolie launches charity jewelry line

The new jewellery line is a collaboration between the Hollywood actress and her friend, jewelry designer Robert Procop. “We launched this collaborative collection with the intent that 100 percent of the profits will go to charity,” Procop told E!Online. “The intention was to create something beautiful but more importantly to provide children an opportunity to have an education.”

The pieces from the collection include a black faceted necklace in 18k rose gold, a pear shaped citrine and cushion cut necklace, and a rubellite tablet ring.

“The first funds from our collaboration together have been dedicated to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict and we have recently completed a school in Afghanistan,” added Procop.

Century-old Kansas City jeweler Tivol is (for now) the exclusive stockist of the Style of Jolie line, and the store held a special event on Wednesday to celebrate the event.

“Tivol, with their historic reputation and dedication to family values is a wonderful retail partner to launch our collection in the U.S.,” Angelina Jolie told E!.
