All-TIME 100 Fashion Icons: Olsen twins make list
The Olsen Twins

The 25-year-old sibling duo join iconic creators such as Miuccia Prada, Coco Chanel and Christian Dior on the list, which was revealed by the US publication TIME April 2 ahead of its annual TIME 100 poll, which compiles the 100 most influential people in the world.

While the TIME 100 poll covers all realms, in anticipation of its release the publication has listed its All-TIME 100 Fashion Icons including designers, models, muses and photographers since 1923 (the year TIME magazine launched).

In the models category, 1990s supers including Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss make an appearance, as does Gisele Bündchen, who topped Forbes magazine’s World’s 10 Top-Earning Models back in May last year.

Absent from this section is Polish supermodel Anja Rubik, who was deemed the most ‘in-demand’ model by fashion industry internet forum The Fashion Spot in June last year based on  factors such as number of magazine covers, Google searches and Twitter followers.

Supersize names in the muses category include Michael Jackson and Andy Warhol alongside Josephine Baker, while the photographers and editors/stylists sections prove more predictable, praising the likes of US Vogue editors Anna Wintour (1988- present) and Diana Vreeland (1963-71) and photographer Annie Leibovitz.
