As the previously elusive world of fashion shows becomes more and more accessible via Instagram, Periscope and live-streaming, we bring you the most pixilated of all fashion weeks, Singapore’s own Digital Fashion Week via our all-access view. Here are our favourite backstage and runway moments from Day 4 (and the final day) of DFW 2015:

#1 Models love to dance, laugh and play backstage!

We loved seeing the camaraderie and fun-loving spirit of the girls backstage, proving friendship, fashion and fun do go hand in hand!

#2 The runway look-by-look wall

Every show look is carefully, planned, styled and fitted to each individual model. Here is the look by look runway plan for Teatum Jones Spring Summer 2016 in Singapore:

#3 The one thing Instagram cannot capture

Despite video and pictures being our day-to-day language these days, there’s one sensory element they still can’t quite capture: touch and feel. The way fabric moves, particularly on these twirl-worthy Max Tan dresses can’t be translated as vibrantly via pixels! Here, Singapore model Diya Prabhakar brings the gorgeous pleated dress to life in photo form.

#4 Chinese New Year appropriate dresses on the runway

We loved seeing the bright bursts of red in Max Tan’s Spring Summer 2016 collection amongst the otherwise muted palette of grey, white and black. The symbolic colour of joy and prosperity will be shoppable come CNY 2016.

#5 Last minute adjustments

Stylists are on hand backstage to zip up models, button them in and make sure the pieces look as catwalk-ready and well-fitted as can be. Here Singapore model Aimee Cheng-Bradshaw gets adjusted backstage before she walks for British label Teatum Jones.

#6 We had a pre-show meta-moment

Her World and herworldPLUS were out in full force at Digital Fashion Week, from Instagrams aplenty to our October issue on every seat at the Seoul Chic Bazaar and Max.Tan shows, we ensured every viewer went home with stylish advice on hand.

#7 We spotted our model-of-the-moment Ava Tao backstage

We recently worked with lovely Chinese native, Ava Tao on our shoot for how to find the perfect bra (see here if you’re yet to read the advice) and loved spotting her on the catwalk and catching up with her backstage.
Fun Fact: Ava isn’t a full-time model but works in real estate and web design back in her current home, LA!

#8 Teatum Jones brought some British swagger to the catwalk

Textile experts, Teatum Jones, usually showcase their clothes in London but came to Singapore shores this past weekend to show at Singapore’s Digital Fashion Week. We loved the London swag they brought out in this model who had a confident and cool walk, the embodiment of nonchalance:
