#1 Selfies with Diane von Furstenberg

Our team enjoyed an intimate lunch session with the lovely Diane at St. Regis hotel. She was really warm and friendly, talking about taking an early morning swim, the love of her life and touching details about her mother’s difficult life; there’s no atas about this luxury designer! (Oh you really need to read her book; The Woman I Wanted To Be. she’s TOTALLY honest about everything!)

#2 Chatting with Dion Lee

We also met up with Australian designer, Dion Lee (OMG he is such a cutie!) for a one-on-one interview. Love love love his AW15 collection! I cannot wait to see these beautiful pieces come to life tomorrow on the runway. He talked about the Dion Lee girl that he designs for and what it was like working with Kanye West. Stay tuned for the full video interview that is coming up really soon.

#5 Diane von Furstenberg’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection

The final walk at Diane von Furstenberg’s opening show for SFW

Singapore Fashion Week opened with DVF showing her AW15 collection. Singapore supermodel Sheila Sim opened the show in a simple yet classy ivory wool jersey dress.

“By day she commands her world, by night she inspires fantasy…” Diane said in her collection notes. In all ways the collection encapsulated these inspirations; her opening pieces were structured and sleek, followed by seductive red and black accents adorned with lace.

Check out the gallery below for the full collection.

But the REAL highlight of the show was the lady herself dancing down the catwalk!
