The Autumn Winter 2014 runway show

Technology has helped fashion transcend physical boundaries. No longer do you have to actually fly to New York, London, Milan or Paris to be front row at the various fashion houses’ runway shows. Thanks to handy livestream videos, you can catch all the action wherever you are in the world.

This Spring Summer 2015, Topshop has gone one step further to make its runway show more accessible through social media. Besides live streaming the runway show that will take place in London on September 14, 2014, at 10pm Singapore time on its website, a part of the high street’s Spring Summer 2015 collection will also be revealed on Facebook.

That’s right, so whether you are in Singapore or in London, the last few looks of Topshop Unique’s new collection will be seen only on the brand’s Facebook page as part of the Social Catwalk campaign – a fashion week first.

Another first in the history of fashion week is the click-to-buy concept. No longer do you have to wait half a year to get your hands on the Spring Summer 2015 looks. Six pieces will go on sale on the Topshop website after the show and can be delivered in days.
