From The Straits Times    |

It must be said, I’m a boots fiend ‒ I own a shameful amount of boots in different styles, heel heights and materials. My favourite pair are a grey, suede, block-heel boot that I stumbled upon at a designer vintage store in Paris. It was a Cinderella meant-to-be kind of shopping moment. I saw them in the shop window and went in to try them on, of course, they were my exact size and fit, down to a precise half-size measurement!

Grey suede isn’t the most practical material, whether I be in rainy London, or in rainy season in Singapore. However, the new season block heel style elevates you above the wet ground (just make sure to purchase more practical leather) and keeps you looking super put-together whilst at it whether you be in the office or headed out for a meeting.

Many a designer created beautiful block heel boots for Autumn Winter 2015, and of course high street interpretations followed. See my pick of the best boots to shop for whatever your budget or the weather forecast may be!
