This is how the love story of Faye, Nic and Cecilia goes. Nic yo-yos between Faye and Cecilia, and every time he goes back to Faye, Cecilia cries in the refrain.

So, yes, actress Cecilia Cheung is crying again, and this time she is sad her former husband, actor Nicholas Tse, has been neglecting their two sons, said Apple Daily.

Yesterday, producer Tiffany Chen told the newspaper Cheung was sobbing when she called her on Saturday, the day Tse’s rekindled romance with singer Faye Wong hit the headlines and lit up the Internet.

Chen said of Cheung, the daughter of an alleged triad member: “She said she had made many mistakes in her relationships and her career and if she could do it all over again, the ending might have been different. Actually, Cecilia is a such a poor girl because she comes from a complicated background, no one taught her well, and she’s made so many mistakes.”

But Cheung insisted she was not crying over Tse and had no feelings for him, Chen told the newspaper. “She said, no, she’s just sad for her two sons because their dad doesn’t care about them at all, and father and sons haven’t met much this year. Cecilia says he’s welcome to see them anytime, but he’s always busy with work and rarely initiates meetings, and Cecilia says this man isn’t worth her love any more.”

The story of Wong, 45, Tse, 34, and Cheung, 34, has played out in the media for more than a decade. After a reported first meeting at singer Anita Mui’s party, he began dating Wong in 2000, around the time he was making a movie, Old Master Q 2001, with Cheung.

From 2002 to 2003, he was said to have bounced between Wong and Cheung, who, at one point, was hospitalised for a nervous breakdown. He later married Cheung, and it lasted five years, before they announced their divorce in 2011. She is now settled down in Singapore with their sons.

He has a post-production studio in Beijing, where Wong is based. They are said to have reconnected about six months ago, after her friend, actress Vicki Zhao, appeared as a guest on his television show, Chef Nic, and nudged him to reconsider his relationship with Wong.
