I’ll happily admit to being just a bit obsessed with nail art. Which is why it is with such glee for me to share that I might have found my new favourite nail spot at Glamourous Factory; aren’t these elaborate nail designs gorgeous?

The nail artists at this Singapore-based salon have studied under the tutelage of the Korean-born, Japanese-based celebrity nail artist Shigeyama Ai, with her eponymous Bub AI nail range.
Why you should care: Shigeyama has worked on the glam talons of many Korean pop stars the likes of Kwon Boa and Tiffany from Girls Generation, just to name a few.

Designs vary from the intergalactic to the dreamy nails inspired by the pearly iridescence of seashells. You probably won’t find these nail art styles anywhere else in Singapore either, for these are handdrawn with the celeb nail artist’s eponymous and hypoallergenic line Bub AI nail range, which features over 200 gel polish colours.

Nail enthusiasts with steady hands can also try doing their own DIY nails with the Bub AI nail glue and Mighty Gel nail extensions; these and more Bub AI products are currently stocked exclusively in Singapore at Glamourous Factory.

Local celebs Priscelia Chan, Ya Hui, Chen Li Ping and Dawn Yeoh have also been known to frequent the Glamourous Factory nail salons thanks to its head nail artist Foo Yee Sin, who was personally trained by Shigeyama Ai.
We hear that the average customer has to make an appointment with Foo at least three weeks in advance to get a slot; book yours stat, to flaunt such nail art on your talons soon.
Prices start from $160 for a Bub AI gel manicure with nail art to $380 for a full gel manicure and pedicure with nail art; prices may vary depending on the designs selected.
