It’s been all about braids the past six months. They’re more fun than ponytails though they don’t require that much more of an effort to achieve. (Experienced braiders, we are now.)

The only problem for us girls however, is how our fine hair can’t seem to hold up the style without looking floppy at the crown of our heads.

Look out for the new Pronto Braid Paste from Oscar Blandi. The product was made specially for girls who lack enough volume to pull of intricate braiding styles. (Really though, even a “messy” braid poses us with several problems sometimes.)

It works almost like a volumiser and a styling wax in one, giving your braids some “fluff” and taming flyaways and frizzy ends. The finish however, doesn’t look over-the-top, oily or stiff. Think something that’s more va-va-voom, but in the most natural sense. Even if you don’t need that much help with volume, you can use it too. It’ll help your braid stay in place.

All you need to do is to take a little bit of the styling cream – about 1-2cm depending on the length of your hair – and smooth it from the roots to the ends. Braid your hair, and you’re done!

Ladies who want to try the product will be able to find it at Sephora stores in July, priced at $36. Have fun braiding!
