What: This particular hair mask promises to be good for an oily scalp and severely dry hair with tangled ends. With liquorice essence for the scalp, Korean ginseng, pearl, shell ginger leaf and lotus flower essences for the hair, it’s supposed to repair and nourish hair ends, without weighing hair down or leaving a greasy feel.
Asience Nature Smooth Hair Mask retails at $18.90 from selected hypermarkets, supermarkets and pharmacies.
Review: I’ve been a fan of Asience for some time now – all their products have left my hair smelling good, feeling silky and looking shiny.
This sweet-smelling hair mask was just as effective; however, I found it to be lighter than some of their other products. It didn’t weigh my hair down after blow drying it and I liked how my hair still had volume.
It didn’t leave my scalp greasy, and kept the hair bouncy and shiny for the better part of the day. Major tangles also magically faded into oblivion. The only issue I had with this was the texture - it was slightly lumpy with some clumps when it was scooped out from the container, but it was still creamy and smoothed out fine over the hair.
