Things you should cut out of your skincare if you have sensitive skin

If you’ve got painfully sensitive skin, be sure to avoid these skincare ingredients because they might just worsen your skin’s condition

1. Alcohol

Probably the number one ingredient to avoid at all cost, alcohol can really dry your skin out and lead to irritated and uncomfortable skin.

2. Fragrance

Synthetic fragrances can react with skin and cause it to become inflamed. It can also weaken layers of the skin and cause it break out even more.

3. Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate

Sulfates can sometimes cause skin irritation so if you’re trying to get healthier skin, try to avoid sulfates for a bit and see if it works for you.

4. Scrubs with rough kernels

Often times, face scrubs with kernels too big and rough for your sensitive skin.

5. Oxybenzone

Commonly found in sunscreen, this ingredient can cause problems for sensitive skin. The chemical ingredient can sometimes react and hurt skin.
