The baby-faced South Korean singer Sandara Park’s name is synonymous with timeless beauty. The 33-year-old Dara, who made her debut more than a decade ago as a member of the now-defunct girl group 2NE1, still looks as fresh now as she did then.

Speaking in English at a press conference held in the Conrad Centennial on May 11, 2018, Dara shared that the sweltering heat has been taking a toll on her, “I’m also human. I don’t look good when I wake up. I sweat too.”

That is why Dara uses a face mask every single day for about 10 to 15 minutes to rejuvenate her skin.

“At night, you need treatment (to repair skin damages from the day) while sleeping,” added the doe-eyed singer who was in town to film the four-episode television series, Get It Beauty On The Road, which is a local spinoff of the Korean beauty advice show Get It Beauty. In the Singapore edition of the show, Sandara is joined by local starlets 22-year-old Chantalle Ng (who is the daughter of veteran actress Lin Meijiao) and Tay Ying (daughter of home-grown celebrities Hong Huifang and Zheng Geping) who is also 22 as they explore Singapore and uncover the best beauty tips and tricks tailored for Singaporeans.

Apart from using sheet masks, in particular, sheet masks with motifs on it religiously, the self-proclaimed “cosmetic fanatic” Dara also said her other beauty secret is to find the right makeup products that will not look cakey, especially in Singapore’s tropical climate. She also believes in using her makeup and skincare products in the right order.
