Revlon PhotoReady Makeup, $29.90

It claims to be the first foundation available in the Singapore mass-market to be tested under high-definition camera lens and harsh lights like sunlight and indoor fluorescent lighting. It contains pigments that diffuse this harsh lighting thus making your skin look good. It also has SPF 20 and comes in 6 shades.

Rating: 3.5/5

I compared this Revlon Photoready Makeup foundation and another one from a high-end brand in the same ‘high-definition’ foundation category by applying them on different sides of my face.

The resulting natural finishes were pretty equal with the former being more spreadable and matte. It also covered my pimple scars reasonably well although I needed to pat on some concealer on the darker spots. I used the shade Medium Beige which matched my olive skintone.
