Nina Dobrev’s mother told her not to let TV stylists “sizzle” her hair off.
The stunning actress is best known for her role in hit CW drama The Vampire Diaries. When the 22-year-old started out in TV, her mom imparted some words of wisdom regarding her gorgeous long tresses.
“When I first got my job on the show, my mom told me, ‘We know they need your hair for today, you need it for life. You can’t let them sizzle it off,’” she told InStyle.
Nina takes good care of her luscious brunette locks off-screen. The star’s favourite trick is to use a hair mask every third wash.
“Sometimes I put the hair mask on and a shower cap on top and drive like that to work,” she revealed. “I look like an old lady!”
Nina wants to put her tresses to good use. The Bulgarian-Canadian actress would love to be named a spokesperson for one of her favourite hair care brands.
“It’s been a dream of mine to be a L’Oreal or Pantene girl. That’s why I’m keeping it healthy – and long – until they ask me. That’s my incentive,” she smiled. © Cover Media
