I have a nightly beauty ritual that borders on being obsessive-compulsive. Regardless of how tired or late I come home, I have to complete my ritual. The only times I skipped a few steps was when I was really sick or hospitalised. It goes something like this:

 

  1. Drink a cup of honey water
  2. Remove makeup
  3. Wash my face with a cleanser (the type depends on my skin’s condition)
  4. Apply a mask (again depending on my skin’s condition)
  5. Wash off mask
  6. Apply toner
  7. Apply infusion/serum/essence (I usually apply two of the three)
  8. Apply moisturiser
  9. Apply eye cream
  10. Apply lip balm

The whole process might take some time but I’ve been doing it for years. If people subscribe to ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’ practice, this is my ‘10 simple steps to keep bad skin away’ habit.
