Big on fun: Enter the biggest beauty pop-up in Singapore by Sephora

Sephora Playhouse, the biggest pop-up for the beauty obsessed opens to the public on July 21, 12pm and Her World had first dibs checking out the space. Our verdict? Get ready to have lots of fun
 

The way we experience our favourite beauty products just got a whole lot different.

There seems to be a trend amongst beauty brands to have pop-ups for their customers. First, there was Chanel’s CoCo Game Centre, then just recently L'occitane transported us to France with their pop-up cafe and concept store.

But the latest one at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza by Sephora is all about having serious fun - think slide, trampoline and ball pits.

Because, why not? The French beauty brand turns 10 this year and they just wanted to throw a really fun party.

Nine themed rooms in 700sq/m of space that’s going to be there for 10 days - all dedicated to celebrating the brand’s big birthday bash. Each room has experiential and interactive elements which invites you to let your hair down and simply have fun.

The adventurous can bounce on trampolines at Urban Decay’s Bouncy Palette Room and jump into a ball pit that’s set at a cool 17 degrees at Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Underwater World.

And what’s fun without some ice cream? Have some at Benefit’s all-American diner and ice cream parlour (flavours inspired by Benefit colours no less).

There are also workshops like a jam cracker tasting at sky blue Fresh’s Beauty Kitchen, on July 22, 4pm to 5pm; a makeup demo hosted by Kat Von D’s resident makeup artist on July 21, 3pm; and pick up brow-grooming tips from Benefit’s brow expert on July 21 from 6pm.
