It says a lot when an actress doesn’t have many lines in a film, and yet still manages to leave a lasting impression on her audience. 

That’s Margot Robbie in her latest film Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood (directed by Quentin Tarantino). The Australian actress-producer plays Sharon Tate, the late American actress and model. Brimming and glowing with radiance, Robbie’s dreamy innocence stuck with us throughout the film. And it likely caught the eye of Chanel, too, because the French beauty House recently announced Robbie as the face of not only their new scent, but the entire Gabrielle Chanel range.

You would’ve already know of the classic Gabrielle Chanel EDP. This month, the House launched two new products: the Gabrielle EDP Twist & Spray ($216 – left) and the Gabrielle Hair Mist ($81 – right).

But there’s more – there will be a new iteration of the Gabrielle Chanel fragrance, and it’s called the Gabrielle Chanel Essence. It’ll only be launched in 2020. Created by perfumer Olivier Polge at the Chanel Laboratory of Fragrance Creation and Development, the olfactory interpretation of the Gabrielle Chanel Essence is rich, opulent and sensual. The new scent is composed around the four white flowers that the House loves: jasmine, ylang-ylang, orange blossom and tuberose. Considered to have the most bewitching and alluring scent of the quartet, grasse tuberose is what grounds the fragrance, to leave a warm and enveloping trail.
