2015 holiday beauty collaborations Kiehl's Peter Max

This collaboration with New York artist Peter Max is all about the joy of giving. The retro designs are based on the legendary artist’s acclaimed work “The Cosmic Runner”, with an emphasis on bright, whimsical and imaginative imagery instead of the usual polished, glossy and shimmery themes oft associated with holiday sets.

The vibrant design will make its mark on some of Kiehl’s bestsellers like the Creme de Corps, Ultra Facial Cream, Calendula toner and a new collection of Richly Hydrating Hand Creams.

Kiehl’s whimsical holiday collections will be available in November.

2015 holiday beauty collaborations Shu Uemura Maison Kitsune

East and West collide in this collaboration between Shu Uemura and Maison Kitsune, featuring a stylised design inspired by none other than Paris and Tokyo. The cultural crossover is no surprise if you’re familiar with both Shu Uemura and Maison Kitsune, and the designs are to die for!

The “beauty remix” features pairs of iconic motifs from East and West, like a beret and straw hat, a fleur de lis and plum blossom, a dress and kimono, as well as a croissant and manju.

Standouts from the playful collection are eye and cheek palettes ($98), limited edition eyeliners in plum gold silver and indigo ($33 each), a set of Japanese-inspired false lashes as well as a French one ($34 each), and the ultime8 sublime beauty cleansing oil ($65 for 150ml).

The Maison Kitsune for Shu Uemura collection is available islandwide from November 2015.

 2015 holiday beauty collaborations CPB

Designed in collaboration with renowned jewellery designer Joji Kojima, the Collection Bal Masque holiday makeup collection from Cle de Peau Beaute was inspired by the ornate glamour of a medieval Venetian masquerade ball. The Makeup Coffret ($240, pictured) has a beautiful eyeshadow quad, Perfect Lash Mascara in a rich bordeaux, and a bright crimson red Extra Rich Lipstick.

Also part of the collaboration are a limited edition shimmering body powder compact ($145), a nail lacquer trio of red silver and “old” gold polishes ($90), and the iconic Le Serum in a sleek red bottle ($420).

The Cle de Peau Beaute Holiday Collection will be available from November 2015.

2015 holiday beauty collaborations NARS Steven Klein Dead of Summer Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Palette

I’m obsessed with Nars’ incredibly non-conformative “editorial” collab with fashion photographer Steven Klein. The visuals are something else altogether, with each “lookbook” set looking more fantastic than the next. We can’t get enough of how provocative and haunting the collection visuals are.

The Dead of Summer Dual-intensity Eyeshadow Palette ($85, pictured), features four gorgeous wet-or-dry eyeshadows that are perfect for the trendy plum holiday look. There is also a Despair Cheek Palette ($120) that has four blush shades and a mini Kabuki Ita brush and the Magnificent Obsession Red Lip Set ($85) consisting of a lipstick, liner and matte lip pencil in a bright crimson.

My personal favourite, the Humoresque Audacious Lipstick Coffret ($220) contains five iconic Nars audacious lipsticks. This set is exclusively available at Tangs at Tangs Plaza.

If you dare, here HERE’S the video celebrating the collection.

The Nars Steven Klein Collection is available from November 2015
