When we chanced upon this video demo recreating the sensational eye makeup seen on J-Law’s character in The Hunger Games, we thought it would make a neat companion piece to our own guide to pulling off the feisty actress’ off-screen pixie cut.
The blockbuster look hinges upon L’Oreal Paris’ new star product, Superliner Blackbuster (pictured above), the first marker pen liner of its kind on the market. The nifty felt tip dispenses a jet-black liquid liner that can be laid on thick or thin: Angle the pen to press the blunt side against your eyes for a sexy smudged look, or skim the pointed end along your lash line for a barely there accent.
For Katniss-worthy peepers, you’ll also need to layer a shimmery shadow over a darker base on your lids before piling on the bling with a smattering of crystals along your lower lash line.
