#1. Kat Von D 10th Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette, $76

How to wear it: For a blue toned eye that really pops, layer the bright blue shade and deepen the colour at the corner using the darker teal hue. In the center of the eyelid, brush on the grey toned shimmer finish shadow.

#2. Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Fantascene, $69

What it has: This sleek palette holds seven pink hued eyeshadows. There are four different finishes – velvet, satin, silk and lamé – in ascending order of shimmery-ness.

How to wear it: Using the velvet and satin finish shades of beige, taupe and brown, create a winged out smoky eye. Then for an eye-catching finale, add the silky pink and the rose gold lamé shades as accents on the center of the eyelid and inner corners of the eyes.

#3. Urban Decay Backtalk Palette, $76

What it has: Inside this lightweight, power-packed case lives eight nude-mauve, soft berry and muted rose eyeshadow shades on one side, plus four blusher and highlighter shades on the flip side. How handy!

How to wear it: Go for the lighter rose quartz pink tones on your lids for a more wearable, pretty daytime look. Or up the ante by layering on the darker berry to dark brown hues for something a little more sultry. We love how the four blusher hues can also be built up from wearable to dramatic.

#4. Astalift Flarosso Intenso Eyeshadow in OR01, $65

What it has: A concise palette of four hues in radiant orange tones to brighten any face. The powder textures are super silky with a super fine shimmer that catches the light.

How to wear it: Sweep the second lightest hue over the entire lid. Then add the darker two hues one after the other on to the middle and outer corner of the eye sockets and the darkest hue close to the lower lash line. Lastly use a small brush to sweep the lightest shimmery hue on the inner corners of the eyes for a dewy, doe-eyed look.
