Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream

The claim: Kiehl’s says its Super Multi-Corrective Cream is “clinically demonstrated to simultaneously lift, firm, visibly redefine skin contour and re-texturize skin within two weeks and double efficacy within four weeks.”

For the record, the results were gleaned from a multi-ethnic clinical sample lof 50 women, which means it should do its job on Asian skin types.

The light-textured, pleasantly herbal-smelling cream contains the goodness of a potent trio of ingredients: Jasmonic acid, a plant-derived compound that is said to promote skin repair and resistance; Beech tree extract, which amps up the skin’s production of glycosaminoglycans, which is a kind of water-attracting amino acid that essentially functions as a firming and plumping agent; and a unique, fragmented form of hyaluronic acid, which performs all the moisturising duties of the beloved regular form, only more efficiently and with the added benefit of easing the appearance of fine lines.

According to Kiehl’s, this cream is a technical labour of love: it is extremely tough to stabilise jasmonic acid without it separating from the product like cream floating on milk, which is why it’s taken the brand so long to produce this hero moisturiser.

Now all you have to do is try it for yourself, and let us know if it works for you!
