Our obsession with K-beauty is no new news (try say that when you’ve had a few!). The reason is pretty straightforward: They absolutely nail the illusion of a flawless “I woke up like this” face and we want in on the action.  These eye bags won’t make themselves disappear, no they will not.

Laneige Ideal Blush Duo collection

When we think of contouring and highlighting, images of Kim Kardashian and her beautifully sculpted face comes to mind and, you may be shocked to learn, this doesn’t coincide with the K-beauty look. What if we told you that you can still nail your fresh-faced K-beauty look AND practise your contouring skills?

Enter Laneige’s Ideal Blush Duo collection – six unique palettes that features two sheer pastel colours that blends well together to complement your skin tone. Designed for layering and blending of multiple colours to create a more natural contouring and highlighting effect, this will add a breath of fresh air to your overall makeup look.

To finish the look, we recommend their Ideal Shadow Quad palette that features a highly pigmented eyeshadow with long-lasting colour payoff.

Pre-launched at Sephora ION on August 3, this will only be available at all Laneige boutiques from August 17 onwards.

Laneige Anti-Pollution Finishing Pact

If you swear by Laneige’s Anti-Pollution Defensor and Anti-Pollution Mask to protect and soothe your skin, then you’ll be thrilled to know that Laneige has launched a new Anti-Pollution Finishing Pact to the range.

It promises to give you a fresh and hydrated skin as well as round-the-clock protection by forming an even and smooth coat over the surface of your skin. This creates a barrier between your countenance and dust particles, preventing the latter from clinging to your skin, simultaneously providing you with UV protection with SPF 15 and PA++. We love the blend of fresh green and white powder, it acts as a colour correction and gives a more radiant and glowing skin tone.

Etude House Updated Play 101 Stick Contour Duo Line

While this isn’t a thoroughly new line, there are new updates to it and we thought that it’s necessary you should know about it. For the uninitiated, the Play 101 Stick Contour Duo is all about subtle contouring as with the Laneige Ideal Blush Duo.

While the latter focuses on blushes, the former features a versatile contour stick with a triangular tip for precision. With four new shades, you can now define your face with a gradation of shades, bringing a more natural and subtle finish to the table. So fans of Etude House Play 101 sticks, look out for this.
