Give your pucker a boost with pout plumpers that deliver full, fabulous lips in a flash.

With aesthetic doctors reporting a surge in demand for lip-boosting procedures, our desire for a gorgeously plump pout is showing no sign of abating.

But if you’re keen to avoid cosmetic treatments such as collagen fillers, the good news is that thin or uneven lips can be easily corrected with make-up.

Here are some tips for fantastically full lips.

Moisture boost:
Your skin needs to be moisturised in order to plump it up, and your lips are no exception. Use a moisture-rich lip balm to keep them in great condition and help them look fuller. Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is brilliantly nourishing.

Scrub up:
Your lips should be included in your exfoliation routine, but don’t use your normal scrub on them as it will probably be too harsh. Bliss Fabulips scrub uses finely granulated sweet sugar, almond and walnut shell to gently exfoliate while jojoba seed and olive oils, shea and cocoa butters and vitamins A, C and E nourish and condition. If all else fails, you can also get rid of the dead skin by gently rubbing your lips with a soft toothbrush.

A splash of colour:
Steer clear of dark or bright colours. They can make thin lips look even thinner. Opt for paler, more natural shades with a touch of shine to give a look of fullness. A little shine goes a very long way so after completely covering lips with gloss or lipstick, dab an extra spot right at the lip centre. A widely known trick among top make-up artists, it reflects light and creates the illusion of fuller lips.
