Whilst we all have that staple perfume we stick with, sometimes it doesn’t hurt to change it up. Ask yourself, how long have you worn the same scent for? Have you changed since you first started wearing it? Maybe, just maybe, there’s a new fragrance out there that better fits the ‘new you’. Nothing ventured, nothing gained so the saying goes.

Vetyverio

Many of you might be well acquainted with the unisex Vetyverio EDT (Eau de Toilette) launched in 2010 by Diptyque. Seven years on, perfumer Oliver Pescheux is introducing the EDP (Eau de Parfum) edition of Vetyverio.

What you can expect is a more intense version of the EDT, still floral and woody nonetheless. Crafted with woody vetiver roots as the main ingredient, the presence of grapefruit as its top note lends a freshness to the fragrance. At its base note, we have patchouli and turkish rose that brings depth and solidity to the fragrance. Definitely one for a sensual dinner date out.

Kabuki Gypsy Water

Wait… fragrance in a powder form? Yes, you heard us right. Byredo’s latest range of fragrances, Kabuki, comes as a powder as opposed to the traditional liquid form. Heavily inspired by the traditional Japanese theatre and brushes used by actors to apply their make-up, the perfumer has created a new art of perfuming through an innovative presentation.

Housed in retractable brushes, the micro-fine powder can be applied in the hollow of the neck, dusted over the entire powder or layered over the traditional spray version. The Gypsy Water scent boasts of a fruity floral top note with bergamot, juniper berries, lemon and pepper. At its heart are incense, orris and pine needles. It finishes woody and sweet, with amber, sandalwood and vanilla as base notes. Bonus: It’s super portable and fuss-free for travels.

Here’s a fruity floral perfume for you – My Burberry Blush. The latest addition to Burberry’s fragrance range, you’d find pomegranate, rose and jasmine as key notes. It reminds you of being in an English garden at daybreak, blossoming flowers opening with a burst of energy while glowing light filters through the flora.

Created by perfumers Francis Kurkdjian and Christopher Bailey, the fragrance opens with a sharp pomegranate note fused with vibrant lemon scent before delicate rose petal notes are lifted with crisp apple, while a base of jasmine and wisteria rounds off the scent for a feminine touch.

The first-ever female fragrance wholly developed under Alessandro Michele’s creative vision, it celebrates friendship, authenticity, vitality and self-expression.

A thoroughly floral perfume, hence the name, the Gucci Bloom is reminiscent of an abundant and beautiful garden with the Rangoon Creeper as its main ingredient. Infused with Tuberose and Jasmine at it’s heart notes, it gives a white fresh petal scent. Feminine, this is the go-to for that casual picnic date you have.
