With the worldwide obsession over galaxy- and unicorn-themed stuff lately (mirror cakes and sparkly coffee in particular), it’s no surprise that everything and anything holographic and sparkly is in-demand.
While we’ve come across plenty of mesmerising nail polish shades, we’ve been hard-pressed to find a truly hypnotic makeup product. Until this week, that is. The internet has gone gaga for the latest lip product that looks as magical as any lip gloss could possibly look, and the lip art that’s resulting from these glosses is truly magical.
Sigma beauty has launched these gorgeous lippies dubbed Lip Switch lip glosses (US$14 each). They come in five different shades, from a green and lavender duo-chrome called Double Whammy to a beautiful Opal-inspired shade called Transcend. From the looks of things, the buildable shades can be worn as a super sheer coat, or layered for a deeper and more holographic effect.
Where to get them:
While Sigma Beauty products are available on Sephora Singapore’s site, the range isn’t complete and Sephora doesn’t carry the Lip Switch glosses. You’ll have to head to the brand’s main website, www.sigmabeauty.com, to purchase them yourself. The good news? It ships internationally! The not-so-great news – there’s a shipping fee of about US$15.
The Lip Switch glosses are all still in stock as of right now, so hurry on and pick them up for yourself or a friend who is truly obsessed with all things mesmerising and holographic!

On a side note, I really do love Sigma’s makeup brushes and brush cleaning tools, so if you’re in the market for some quality brushes or a brush cleaning pad that will make washing your tools an absolute breeze, visit Sephora Singapore’s site to take a look at some of their products. I like using their F80 Flat Kabuki brush to apply my liquid foundations, before going over my face with a damp Beauty Blender sponge if I want fuller coverage without too much product wastage.
