I STARTED TAKING CARE OF MY SKIN WHEN I WAS… Seventeen.
THE THREE THINGS I’LL ALWAYS HAVE IN MY BAG: Sunglasses, sunblock and lip balm.
WHAT HARMS MY SKIN THE MOST: The sun and using the wrong skincare products.
MY FAVOURITE SKINCARE RANGE: Shiseido Ultimune, of course! My skin feels more supple now.
HER THOUGHTS ON LIFE:
IF I’M NOT AN ACTRESS, I’D BE… A housewife and stay-at-home mum.
MY AMBITION AS A KID: A nurse, a comic book artist, a teacher, a policewoman.
WHAT I DO WHEN I’M HAPPY: Eat, drink and laugh out loud.
ON HER SON, ZED:
THE FIRST THING I DO EVERYDAY IS… Kiss my baby, Zed.
WHAT I DO BEFORE BEDTIME: Read Zed a storybook.

ON MOTHERHOOD:
MY ROLE MODEL IN LIFE IS… My mother.
THE BEST THING ABOUT BEING A MOTHER: When you’re all sweaty and unkempt, your child will still think you’re the most beautiful person in the world.
THE ONE THING I REMEMBER MOST ABOUT MY MOTHER: When I was a kid, I suddenly awoke at 3am after hearing the sounds of a sewing machine. I walked into the kitchen and saw my mum sewing. When she saw me, she simply told me to “go back to sleep”. She gave my siblings and me perfect childhoods, and worked hard to give us everything we wanted. I got the chance to attend dance and art classes because she believed in me.
ACHIEVING HER ULTIMATE:
WHEN WAS I AT MY ULTIMATE BEST: I was a workaholic when I was a young adult; I was very successful in other people’s eyes, but what they didn’t see was the amount of pressure I put on myself. After becoming a mum, I feel that my greatest accomplishment is having Zed. Right now, I’m at my ultimate best.
WHAT MOTIVATES ME: My mother. She raised me and my three siblings on her own, and she has always taught us to believe in ourselves, have dreams and be determined enough to fulfil them. She’s perfect to me.
ON BEING FANN WONG:
THE MOST PRESSURISING THING ABOUT BEING ME IS… I put a lot of pressure on myself to constantly improve and be the best version of myself.
THE BEST THING ABOUT ME: I’m very patient.
WHAT I’D SAY TO 25-YEAR-OLD ME: Thank you and you’ve worked hard.
