By combining its rejuvenated brightening skincare technologies with its long-held expertise in colouring, Chanel Beauty’s latest Le Blanc make-up products work harder to create a brighter, more radiant complexion.

Continuing on from its daily skincare regime with products like the Chanel Le Blanc Intensive Night Whitening Treatment, the Le Blanc Light Revealing Whitening Makeup Base SPF 35/PA+++, Le Blanc Light Revealing Whitening Fluid Foundation SPF 30/PA+++ and Le Blanc Fresh Glow Brightening Loose Powder SPF 10/PA+ all work togther to help you achieve brighter skin.

Le Blanc Light Revealing Whitening Makeup Base SPF 35/PA+++ helps unbalanced skin “undertones” to be adjusted while also being protected from UV radiation. Chanel Beauty says this base will make “light reflected on the skin surface optimised, whatever the lighting conditions”.

The formula for this product combines pigments, UV protection, moisturising and brightening ingredients in a lightweight textured fluid.

There are “Pure White Mineral Ceramic Pigments” in the base which according to Chanel Beauty “target skin tone irregularities”. Licorice Root Extract has been added to the formula to reduce dark spot formation and to “unify the complexion”, and Pearl Protein Extract is used to correct dull skin tones and add moisture, says Chanel Beauty.

Le Blanc Light Revealing Whitening Makeup Base SPF 35/PA+++ comes in three corrective shades and one illuminating shade – Lilas corrects a yellowish skin undertone; Rosé improves dull, greyish skin and Mimosa evens-out irregular, “shadowy” skin tones. Lys, the illuminating shade of base, is great for brightening all complexions.

Once you’ve got your base sorted out, you can add Chanel Beauty’s Le Blanc Light Revealing Whitening Fluid Foundation SPF 30/PA+++ which combines mineral ceramic pigments, pure white mineral ceramic pigments, Pearl Protein Extract and Licorice Root Extract for another dose of brightening, moisturising and luminosity. This foundation is also dermatologist-tested and non-comedogenic.

The light fluid foundation’s “colour-coated ceramic particles” which are available in six shades, are supposed to “erase all skin imperfections and even out the complexion to ensure a perfect homogeneous coverage while preserving transparency”, according to Chanel Beauty.

To finish off your perfect canvas, you can use Le Blanc Fresh Glow Brightening Loose Powder SPF 10/PA+; the shimmering loose powder helps “set” your foundation and base, helping it last for longer. The “rose” shade also adds luster with its very soft pink veil of colour.

Like the rest of the Le Blanc make-up, the loose powder contains the Pure White Mineral Ceramic Pigments, the Pearl Protein Extract and the Licorice Root Extract to reinforce the brightening and moisturising properties of this range of products; likewise, it’s also dermatologist-tested and non-comedogenic.

So, now you should have a radiant, smooth complexion perfectly on-trend for the “velvet” finish that was all over the Spring Summer 2013 runways, and primed for the addition of fresh, spring colours.
