Chanel Beauty’s dedication to creating an effective brightening range resulted in nine years of research in its Japanese laboratories and the technological breakthrough discovery of the TXCTM molecule that aids in controlling skin hyperpigmentation; leading eventually to the launch of its lauded Le Blanc skincare products.

Now, after more research and refining, Chanel Beauty has launched the Le Blanc Intensive Night Whitening Treatment which combines its patented active ingredient ‒ the TXCTM, or Tranexamic acid cetyl ester, molecule ‒ with the powerful action of Butinoltm, 4-butylresorcinol, a “resorcinol derivative that has an inhibitory effect on both tyrosinase and tyrosinase-related protein-1 (skin pigments)” according to the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health.

Chanel’s Le Blanc Intensive Night Whitening Treatment is applied once daily, in the evening, and is said to repair the daily damage your skin suffers due to UVA radiation and environmental exposure.

According to Chanel, during the night your production of melanin is actively regulated and “normalised”, your skin’s “radiance is revived from within as the complexion glows with the inimitable and sublime luster of a pearl”. Your skin will also be “evened out” and look smoother and more “plumped” with a “translucent brightness” says the Chanel Beauty team.

The Le Blanc skincare products make use of Chanel Beauty’s ground-breaking research on how the TXCTM molecule regulates melanin overproduction inside your skin; it acts continuously on all the layers of the epidermis to regulate melanin production, correcting dark spots as it goes. It also reduces the appearance of new dark spots and by utilising esterase ‒ an enzyme that’s naturally present in skin cells ‒ the TXCTM molecule will work for up to 12 hours which is why it’s most effective when used overnight.

The surface of your skin is brightened by the addition of Pearl Protein Extract to the Le Blanc skincare products. Pearl Protein Extract, according to Chanel Beauty, “inhibits the specific oxidation of cellular proteins; it visibly corrects the yellowing of the skin and lights up lackluster complexions”.

Chanel Le Blanc Intensive Night Whitening Treatment has a light, aqueous texture, is fragrance free and leaves the skin feeling soft, silky and more “plump” when you use it. According to Chanel, the Chanel Le Blanc Intensive Night Whitening Treatment will decrease dark spot colour intensity by 21 per cent after four weeks of use; decrease dark spot contour sharpness by 20 per cent and size by seven per cent after four weeks of use; based on a clinical evaluation of 24 volunteers.

To get the best results you need to use the Chanel Le Blanc Intensive Night Whitening Treatment every night for four weeks straight, two or three times a year; replace it in your beauty routine with the Le Blanc Whitening Concentrate Continuous Action TXCTM for more continuous use.

Combine the Chanel Le Blanc Intensive Night Whitening Treatment with the other products in the Le Blanc range for a more integrated support system for your skincare regime, for example the Le Blanc Makeup Remover, Cleansing Foam, Prelotion and Lotion.
