The Award: Best Luxe Anti-Ageing Moisturiser (Department/Speciality Store) – Readers’ Choice

The Winner: Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Cream

Sulwhasoo Timetreasure Invigorating Cream

Upon application, the skin feels well-hydrated, plump and healthier. The creamy texture blends and absorbs well, sitting comfortably, and makes the appearance of lines less prominent.

Her World Beauty Awards 2020 judge and dermatologist, Dr Lynn Chiam

When your skin looks lacklustre and the signs of ageing appear more prominent, you need a little booster to nourish it. You’d be surprised how effective a potent moisturiser can be, and how much it can help your skin look radiant, hydrated and healthy.

What It Is:

An improved version of Sulwhasoo’s luxurious Timetreasure Invigorating Cream.

Its Claims:

It repairs skin while reinforcing the “longevity genes” within skin cells to firm the skin. The improved formula also promises to “correct” ageing cells and “rehabilitate” them into new ones to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles for a youthful-looking complexion.

Key Ingredients:

Twice the amount of Dehydrobietic Acid (DHAA) extracted from Korean red pine, Red Pine Protective Coat (RPPC) extracted from the bark of the red pine and wild simulated ginseng.

Texture:

A rich cream that is comfortable on skin. Less is more, especially if you don’t like the slick after-feel when too much is applied.

What Happened When We Used It:

Upon application, we saw that our skin was instantly more plump and smoother – even fine lines looked noticeably less prominent.

When used overnight, we woke to a softer, well-hydrated complexion – there was none of that post-air-conditioning dryness we’re used to finding with our other moisturisers.

It makes good emergency care for skin that looks tired and dull, giving the complexion an extra boost of nourishment, leaving it supple and radiant.

And while the cream might be a little heavy, it spreads very well, so all we needed was just a bit each time to leave our complexion feeling richly moisturised. It can leave normal skin feeling a little greasy, so use it at night only. On drier, older skin, however, it was perfectly comfortable day and night.

We were also surprised by the fresh earthy and herbal scent of the pine – it gave our senses a lift every time we used the cream.
