165 ago it was 1851. The telephone hadn’t been invented, homes didn’t have electricity, and a fun evening would involve catching a theatre show, not a Pokémon. Meanwhile, at the junction of Third Avenue and East 13th Street in Manhattan, John Kiehl was opening his pharmacy store, Kiehl’s.

LOOK GOOD, FEEL BETTER

Today, that one little store has grown into a global giant that boasts a reputation for making the most effective skincare. It’s also known for its charitable campaigns, something it’s been involved in for many years.

“ There are few companies that have been giving back through philanthropic work for as long as Kiehl’s. ”

— Cheryl Vitali, Kiehl’s General Manager Worldwide.

The brand has long been associated with causes like environmental protection, HIV/Aids awareness and children’s wellbeing.

HELP FOR CHILDREN

In Singapore, the brand’s 165th birthday celebrations will benefit children through the partnership, #UltraLove. For this, local celebrities have designed artwork centred on the theme of ‘love’, which will adorn the labels of a range of limited edition products. 100 per cent of net profits will go to the Children’s Cancer Foundation. Designers include Jaime Teo (entrepreneur and model), Wendy Jacobs (host and model) and Paige Chua (actress and model).

CLASSIC LINE-UP

The products involved in the #UltraLove campaign are all icons for Kiehl’s. Ultra Facial Cream is stuffed with Antarcticine, Squalane, comforting avocado oil and vitamin E, and promises to provide 24 hours of hydration.

Ultra Facial Oil-Free Gel Cream is known for its ability to hydrate skin without feeling heavy or greasy to wear. Ingredients like glacial glycoprotein, desert plant and Vitamin E are said to trap moisture and visibly balance normal to oily skin.

And Super-Multi-Corrective Cream is said to be clinically demonstrated to simultaneously lift, firm, visibly redefine skin contours and re-texturise skin within two weeks, thanks to powerhouse ingredients like jasmonic acid, beech tree extract and fragmented hyaluronic acid.

Kiehl’s #UltraLove products will be available beginning
