After a long day, the last thing you want is to spend more time removing your makeup than you did putting it on. No one wants to deal with a smudging, clumping mess on her skin. We get it, and beauty brands have taken note too. What’s so good about these new long-wearing eyeliners? They don’t smudge, and they show only very minimal fading at the end of the day. The best part: Removing them is three times faster than before. Skin is clean and stain-free, so you can fall into bed faster.

Although many cleansers work on these easily-cleaned-off eyeliners, micellar water works best. We know because we tested a slew of removers on them. Micellar water stands out because it’s super gentle on skin but really tough on makeup. One soaked cotton pad is all you need for each eye. Press, hold for a few seconds, wipe off. Goodbye, day-old eyeliner.
