pampering facials spa treatments singapore women - thumb

It’s International Women’s Day today, and in the spirit of celebrating women everywhere, it’s only fitting that we put together a number of pampering ways in which you can treat the wonderful, strong, confident, and hardworking women in your life (yourself included).

In short, if you’ve been looking for a reason to treat your wife, mother, sister, girlfriend, daughter or self, then today is the perfect opportunity to do so.

Here are a number of pampering facials, spa treatments and luxury skincare indulgences that are a great way of conveying your gratitude.

pampering facial treatments singapore - ritz carlton spa la mer miracle broth facial

#1 Ritz Carlton La Mer facials

Anyone familiar with the most luxurious of beauty brands will know the name La Mer. And as it stands, La Mer has just formed its first spa partnership in Asia Pacific with the Ritz-Carlton Spa. So if you’re looking to treat someone to a facial using seriously luxe skincare, this is it. There are even truly unique and classy spa experiences like the Cello Concerto, which is a 60-minute body massage that is harmoniously synchronised with classical music by a cellist. (This does sound a little over the top, but why not, right?)

You can even learn how to practise the art of massage with a Spa Masterclass. Learn, receive and perform treatment techniques so you can surprise your loved one at home.

For the month of March, the Ritz-Carlton Spa is offering a complimentary La Mer eye treatment worth $170++ when you book any 90-minute treatment. You can visit its website for a full list of treatments and prices.

pampering facial treatments singapore - sulwhasoo anti ageing concentrated ginseng renewing treatment

#2 Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Treatment, $260 for 80 minutes

If you’re a fan of Sulwhasoo, you may have heard of its latest anti-ageing Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Line. The brand has also launched a pampering treatment in the same vein, which is a full-on 80 minute facial that helps the skin’s ability to self-rejuvenate and involves a special jade ring applicator to supposedly balance the yin and yang in the body.

The treatment has six steps, the first of which is actually a relaxing ginseng foot bath to relieve fatigue and relax the body. The rest of the process involves a facial massage, deep cleansing, a serum treatment and mask, followed by the jade ring massage and a second mask. The final step is yet another massage technique that is used to apply a final fortifying ginseng serum for lymphatic drainage (which anyone who has complained of puffiness will want).

So if you know someone who frowns a lot or is in dire need of an anti-ageing facial massage, this is your ticket to their happiness.

pampering facials singapore - porcelain oxyrevive facial

#3 Porcelain’s OxyRevive Plus Facial, $267.50 for 90 minutes

Another luxurious treatment to gift would be this skin-boosting oxygen facial from Porcelain. It brings together oxygen therapy and Shiatsu massage techniques (for your face!) to give you a stress-relieving facial that also improves microcirculation, skin elasticity, skin tone, refines your pores, and even reduces water retention.

It utilises unique devices like a high-powered jet with sodium chloride to not only clean out your pores but also remove dead skin cells and other impurities. You also get your dose of oxygen via another high-pressure spray, followed by the Shiatsu massage for lymphatic drainage and reduced water retention.

Pampering spas singapore - best tranquil spa Aramsa the garden spa - promotions offers elemis facial

#4 Aramsa Better Me, $488

If the woman you’re looking to treat (it could be yourself!) is a ball of stress, then perhaps what she needs is a full-on trifecta of pampering treatments. Aramsa The Garden Spa has a special Better Me escape series that runs until the end of April 2017. This includes a cleansing salt scrub to slough off all that gross dead skin; an Inner Respite deep tissue massage to get refreshed and energised; followed by an Elemis Facial Treatment (the Superfood Pro-radiance Elemis facial is one my favourite facials).

The tranquil and lush green environment at Aramsa really does make you feel like you’re away from everything, and it’s nestled in a park so you aren’t bothered by any urban stresses. The best part? If you book this treatment for your lady, you can even join her and make it a double experience at just $588, which makes it even more value-for-money.

pampering skincare singapore - bella skin care iddna DNA skincare

#5 A truly customised DNA-based skincare kit and treatments , $3,380

If the woman in your life loves sciency skincare, then this might just be the ultimate gift. Instead of wracking your brains trying to figure out what she wants and needs, you can let her DNA do the talking. Bella Skin Care has tied up with iDDNA from Switzerland to create a fully customised blend of skincare based on your DNA and your skin concerns.

Here’s what the benefactor of your gift is in for. The first visit consists of a DNA swab test and a simple survey on her skin condition and lifestyle habits, before the results are shipped off to the US to be analysed and processed. The results are then passed on to the lab in Switzerland to create a personalised skincare kit which is then sent to Bella Skin Care for her to pick up.

The whole experience also comes with five skin treatments from Bella. Two are preparatory treatments before she begins using the customised skincare, and three skin rescue sessions are done in tandem with the use of the kit, the specifics of which are determined by the results of her DNA test.

best spa treatments packages singapore - pan pacific spa escape package

#6 A Pan Pacific Singapore Spa Escapade

What’s a notch better than a spa day? A spa-cation, naturally. There are few better ways for us Singaporeans to “get away” from the chaos of life than a quick re-energising staycation, and Pan Pacific Singapore has a special package that lets you enjoy a 60-minute spa treatment with a minimum two-night stay at the hotel. You are also entitled to breakfast, internet access and the 24-hour fitness center.

Choose from three 60-minute spa options: A relaxing Aromatic Body Bliss; an Indonesian Balinese Massage; or a lymphatic foot massage to boost blood circulation and improve your sleep and overall well-being. If you prefer more intense deep tissue massages, then we fully recommend the Balinese one. But if your pain tolerance is much lower (like mine), the Aromatic Body Bliss will be perfect.
