The monochrome makeup look is quite on trend these days, which makes the lazy girl in me incredibly happy. As someone who is more than happy to use the same product for eyes, lips and cheeks, the Nars Multiple sticks have long held a place in my heart. The colour range (blush shades for every skin tone), intensity of pigmentation and sheer blendability are wonderful, and they are the perfect travel companion when you want to pack light. The new Nars Sculpting Duo sticks ($60 each), quite literally fill in the gaps left by the Multiple.
While the Multiples are about bringing colour to the face, the new Multiple Sculpting Duo sticks address the issue of light and depth. Like it says on the tin, the duos are meant to highlight and contour to get a more “sculpted” face. The blendable cream-based formula makes it easy to use on top of cream or liquid foundations and BB/CC creams, and you can still use it on the eyes and lips like the original Multiple.

To use it on your eyes: Blend the contour shade on the outer corners of your eyes and in the crease like you would any regular cream eyeshadow, and use the highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes, centre of your eyelids for a pop of shimmer, and beneath the arch of your brows to accentuate your brow bone.
For the lips, you can apply the darker contour shade like you would a warm brown lippie, and dab the highlight in the middle of your top and bottom lips to make them look fuller.
The Sculpting Mulitple Duos are available in two shades, Copacabana / Sidari Beach and Hot Sand / Laguna, and will be available from October 1, 2016 at selected Sephora Singapore stores.
