Beauty oils are starting to make waves for their nourishing and glow properties. These all-purpose options offer similarly lightweight and nutrient-rich goodness, but each has a different scent, so pick one to suit your mood.

Rene Furterer 5 Sens Enhancing Dry Oil, $89.90.

A dry oil has everything you need in a moisturising agent: it’s intensely hydrating, richly nourishing, and gets absorbed quickly, without the grease that conventional beauty oils tend to leave behind. This particular silicone-free formula has a blend of five botanical oils – avocado, castor, jojoba, safflower and sweet almond – that provides hair and skin with vitamins and minerals for a healthy feel and shine. We sprayed it on our hair and arms one morning, and didn’t require any touch-ups for the entire day. It tames frizzy hair and calms skin redness, and we love how quickly the oil soaks in, leaving a silky finish and a pleasant woody scent.

Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil, $48

While it doesn’t have a distinct rose scent, this silicone-free oil emits a fresh floral aroma that we’d gladly inhale all day.

Shiseido Future Solution LX Replenishing Treatment Oil, $232

It contains a blend of five natural oils, and the yuzu extract in it has a soothing scent that lingers on your skin.

Diptyque Satin Oil for Body and Hair, $82

This mix of avocado and urucum oil boasts a lovely floral scent featuring jasmine, ylangylang and saffron.
