Cle De Peau Beaute Le Serum
Cle De Peau Beaute is a highly covetable beauty brand that we are well-acquainted with. Especially the La Creme – a tried-and-tested night moisturiser that mimics the effect of botox and fillers. The newest addition to the anti-aging line will be the Le Serum.
A skin-awakening serum, this promises to empower the skin from within to achieve vitality and radiance. Formulated with four main ingredients: Chai Hu extract, Cornflower extract, Inositol and White Lily and Tormentilla extract, these are said to promote collagen and hyaluronic acid production, firming of skin and fortifying the skin’s natural barrier. The best part? Just one small drop and you’re good to go.

SK-II Magnetic Booster Applicator
To start off, we’ve previously mentioned how effective SK-II’s award winning anti-aging R.N.A (Radical New Age) series is, but that’s not all. SK-II has brought all of that further with their newest Magnetic Booster applicator. So what exactly is this?
Developed for SK-II’s anti-aging series, the magnetic applicator boasts of a magnetic micropulse technology that promises to supercharge your skincare routine. Delivering consistent yet gentle pulsations at 7000 magnetic vibrations per minute, the applicator is said to effectively penetrate three times more efficiently than your fingers. All you have to do is to gently massage your face with it for 10 minutes everyday. Bonus: It makes for a fun activity while you Netflix before bedtime.
SK-II R.N.A Power Magnetic Kit (RNA Cream + Booster), $200 (Can be found at Changi Airport Shilla Duty Free now, will be available in stores from 1st September)
La Prairie Skin Caviar Absolute Filler
La Prairie’s Skin Caviar lightweight anti-aging moisturiser is great for Asian skin, according to our beauty expert. So you’ll be stoked to know that the beauty powerhouse has added a new product to their Skin Caviar range, the Skin Caviar Absolute Filler.
The new cream promises to return lost density, that is, to plump up your skin and reshape the contours of your face to reveal a more contoured youthful appearance. Infused with a potent dose of caviar oil and proteins, it is said to deliver rich nutrients and moisture to the skin while simultaneously promoting the production of collagen. We love the smooth and creamy texture that applies on smoothly and it doesn’t leave a sticky feeling. Thereafter, we suggest using these lightweight foundations to allow for breathability.
La Prairie Skin Caviar Absolute Filler, $960 from Tangs (Available from 1st September)
Murad CitySkin Overnight Detox Moisturiser
Formulated to combat the effects of environmental aging, this new CitySkin Overnight Detox Moisturiser promises to detoxify your skin of pollutant that have accumulated throughout the day while you sleep. This includes blue light that is being emanated from electronic devices (yes, your iPhone), that can accelerate visible signs of aging.
Fortified with antioxidants from the Marrubium plant stem cells, this is said to neutralise pollutants and strengthen the skin’s barrier against external aggressors the day after. Other than that, it also contains vitamin C that promotes a more even complexion and nourishing botanicals that helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Lightweight and easily absorbable, this leaves skin more hydrated with no greasy after-feel. To not choke your skin after, use Murad’s cushion as a makeup base.
Murad CitySkin Overnight Detox Moisturiser, $146 from Sephora (Available from 31st August)
Jurlique Advanced Day Cream
Most anti-aging treatments are rather creamy and intense, making them more suited for night use when the skin is repairing while we rest. Jurlique’s newest anti-aging cream defies all of that with a lightweight day cream that is packed with antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients.
It contains an exclusive blend of 18 botanical and herbal ingredients such as Viola and Chickweed and more. All of which is said to work in synergy to protect the skin against premature aging by retaining moisture levels. A plus to your anti-aging skincare regime, we suggest incorporating this with the serum in the morning for a round-the-clock protection against fine lines and wrinkles.
Jurlique Advanced Day Cream, $90 (Available in September)
Clarins Double Serum
Clarins iconic Double Serum has been around for a long time and for good reasons. We tried it out and found that the serum is effective in reducing fine lines and shrinking pore size with an added bonus: clearing pimples. In 2017, this age-control serum gets a revamp with reinforced action on skin’s five vital functions – regeneration, oxygenation, nutrition, hydration and protection.
A new plant extract, turmeric, is introduced to the new formula, which is said to help optimise cellular communication, allowing your skin cells to regenerate more effectively. This in turn aids in the smoothing of wrinkles, ultimately leaving you with a more supple complexion. Clarins has also reworked their formula to an oil without any greasy residue with an ultra-comfortable gel texture, which is a bonus for our hot weather in Singapore.
